Stronger cells. Stronger you.
If cell membranes are low in C15:0, they can become fragile, leading to the Cellular Fragility Syndrome. An estimated 1 in 3 people have a nutritional C15:0 deficiency, which can accelerate aging and negatively affect our long-term metabolic, heart, and liver health.
The Fatty15 C15:0 Test measures your C15:0 levels, which allows you to fix nutritional C15:0 deficiencies, optimize your cellular strength, and slow cellular aging.

What's measured on the Fatty15 C15:0 Test?
The Fatty15 Test assesses your levels of an essential fatty acid called C15:0.
C15:0, also known as pentadecanoic acid, is an essential fatty acid found primarily in whole fat dairy products, as well as some fish and plants. C15:0 works to restore and revitalize your long-term health at the cellular level by strengthening cells, maintaining your body’s energy production, and regulating cellular signaling that balances your metabolism, immunity, mood and sleep.
As an essential fatty acid, our bodies need certain levels of C15:0 to stay healthy. Because our bodies don’t make enough C15:0 on their own, we must routinely get adequate C15:0 from our diet to maintain healthy C15:0 levels.
Interpreting Your Fatty15 C15:0 Test Results
Current studies support the following interpretation of your C15:0 levels:
The Reference Range on the report is 0.14-0.30%. Isn’t that considered the “Healthy” range?
While most people have C15:0 levels around 0.2% of total fatty acids, that does not mean it is the healthiest level. Declines in dietary C15:0 intake over the past 50 years have led to population wide declines in C15:0 levels. Current studies support that having < 0.2% C15:0 can lead to a nutritional C15:0 deficiency syndrome called Cellular Fragility Syndrome. In contrast, people living in the Blue longevity zone of Sardinia have average C15:0 levels of 0.6%.
